Minimum Qualifying Marks for Passing TET :-
To qualify in TET examination the candidate must score at least 60% marks .However , 5% relaxation in marks will be given for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD .The degree of physical disability should be min 40% and it should be certified by the competent authority.
Notwithstanding the min prescribed marks secured in TET exam , the number the candidates declared as TET examination qualified would be a max of double the number of vacancies of teachers and such candidates will be determined as per merit position.
The validity of the certificate shell be for a maximum period of 2 years.
Further it must be noted that , those candidates who qualify TET examination as per this Adv and were not above 38 years of age as on 1.1.2012 but might cross the upper age limit in the interim period of validity of maximum 2 years shell be allowed to appear at any graduate teacher recruitment interview.
Structure & Content of TEST
The examination shall be for 200 marks of 200 multiple choice question , each one of them carrying equal marks .The Subjects areas broadly are as follows.
